We have an opportunity for someone interested in completing a Certificate II Horticulture Traineeship with an employer based in Mudgee.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Operation of powered equipment such as mowers, snippers, blowers, electric hedge trimmers and a variety of other tools.
• Gathering and removal of general rubbish from properties.
• General weeding, pruning plants and trimming hedges.
• Assistance with residential gutter cleaning.
• Removal of green waste from properties.
• Provision of a high level of service to customers.
• Following WH&S procedures.
• Working as a part of a small dedicated team.

Essential Criteria:

• A commitment to meeting the requirements of the Certificate II Horticulture.
• Fit and able to lift objects that weigh up to 20kgs.
• Labouring skills to perform physical tasks on a daily basis. 
• Communication skills to liaise in a positive manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification if needed.
• A strong interest, desire and passion for horticulture.
• Be motivated, reliable and ready to work,
• Drivers licence not essential but preferred,
• Non-smoker preferred
• Have completed CareerGate3 General Aptitude test.
